Tributary runners from Warm Springs honoring water walked and ran for three days and met with Peace and Dignity Journeys runners in Portland on Monday, July 16, 2012.
Manny Calapoo of Warm Springs (in yellow shirt) said today, "Yesterday, we were greeted with great honor by NAYA. We arrived around 5 pm then escorted Warm Springs Tributary runners to the Circle. At 7 pm, the Peace and Dignity arrived from Washington. The Prayer Ceremony for the water continued through the evening. NAYA is a group of wonderful people."
Routes of the Peace and Dignity Journeys are headed south through the US toward Guatemala, where they will meet the runners from the south.
