At the Indigenous Environmental Network's Healing Mother Earth conference, today's speakers include Tom Goldtooth, executive director of the Indigenous Environmental Network, Evon Peters, Gwich'in chief, Arthur Manual, Secwepemc Nation BC, and Louise Benally, Navajo from Big Mountain. Standing is Julie Fishel of the Western Shoshone Defense Project. The conference continues through Sunday, July 20, 2008.
